shellProtocolVersion top-level constant
int
const shellProtocolVersion
The version of the protocol fleury shell speaks
(RemoteWireProtocol.shell), declared in INIT as shell=<n>.
A version space of its own, separate from remoteProtocolVersion: the two
protocols share the frame envelope and the handshake but nothing else, so
either can change without the other. Shell protocol 1 was the original ANSI
host, which declared itself v=1 inside the structured space; 2 gave it
its own declaration and added the app's answer to the shell's INIT, which
declares the terminal input the app reads (InitFrame.terminalInput).
