setUserAttributes static method

Future<void> setUserAttributes(
  1. Map<String, dynamic> attributes
)

Supplies attributes about the current user, for campaigns to interpolate and for Digia-owned rules to compare.

Values are String, num, bool or List<String>, and keep their type. Other values are dropped with a debug log.

Calls merge: passing {'plan': 'pro'} and later {'cart': 3} leaves both set. No single call site knows the whole set, so a screen sending one attribute must not clear another's.

Values reach the backend only when something actually changed, so calling this with unchanged attributes costs nothing. They take precedence over anything imported from a connected data source, since the app's copy is current and an import is as old as its last sync.

Requires setUserId; attributes describe an identified user.

Implementation

static Future<void> setUserAttributes(Map<String, dynamic> attributes) {
  return SDKInstance.instance.setUserAttributes(attributes);
}
