A presenter that processes a line as if typed by the user: an item key
or shortcut, the answer of a pending prompt, a line for the menu
command handler.
Optional, the menu agent (package:dev_build/menu/menu_agent.dart) goes
through it so that the presenter display follows (the agent handles the
back and help lines itself).
