dvStudioSpacingOf function

double dvStudioSpacingOf(
  1. Map<String, Object?> properties
)

The gap a box leaves between its children.

Eight when unset, which is the framework's default and what every page rendered before this was read. Zero when the document says zero: a design with no gaps is a real design, and reading a deliberate zero as "unset" is the fallback that swallows it.

Implementation

double dvStudioSpacingOf(Map<String, Object?> properties) {
  final Object? spacing = properties['spacing'];
  return spacing is num ? spacing.toDouble() : 8;
}
