buoy_shared_ui

Shared widgets, colors, event stores, and storage keys used by Buoy's Flutter tools. This is a building block for tool authors. To inspect an app, start with the buoy umbrella or a tool package, which includes its required dependencies.

Requirements and installation

The package requires Dart 3.9 or later, below 4.0, and Flutter 3.27 or later. Add it directly when your custom tool imports its APIs:

Public building blocks

  • Color helpers include MacOSColors, BuoyColors, GameUIColors, and hexAlpha.
  • Widgets include DataViewer, ModalHeader, TabSelector, DevToolsCard, CompactRow, search and filter controls, badges, empty states, and copy controls.
  • BaseEventStore provides bounded event history and subscriber notifications. Account and capture settings affect event retention; constructing a store does not establish account access.
  • devToolsStorageKeys and isDevToolsStorageKey help tools identify Buoy's persisted settings.
  • BuoyIcons supplies shared icons.

See the custom-tool guide for integration with buoy_core, account setup, and debug-build requirements. Check your tool with an empty store and a known event, and verify that filtering or clearing history behaves as intended.
